SERVICES

We offer prevention based postpartum and peri/postmenopause classes.  Our classes focus on comprehensive core strength, core mechanics and core health aimed to prevent and manage some of the more embarrassing elements of aging that women face.  Classes are taught by a physical therapist with 15+ years of treating women's health conditions including incontinence, constipation, pregnancy, postpartum weakness and pelvic pain.

Weights

Postpartum Recovery Class

Re-establish a foundation of strength, recover proper core function and teach basic anatomy, function and pelvic prevention strategies.  

You will learn how to correctly engage and progress your core muscles after delivery, proper posture and body mechanics for efficient core support and good fluid and food habits to ensure good bowel and bladder control.  All this with the goal of empowering you to return to activity and/or prior fitness routine without risk of injury.

You will receive in-person instruction from an experienced practitioner to ensure good technique. â€‹

Menopause and Structure

Structure changes as you age and proper core support and exercise becomes critical for weight management, mobility, bladder and bowel control.  You will learn how to properly engage core support muscles, how to use core muscles for postural support and how that affects bladder and bowel.  The class will also cover good "core" habits, including food and fluid habits that impact pelvic health and general health as you age.
